Clutter Free Yet??
May 1st is just around the corner...I can say I have cleaned out and organized a few areas in the studio...feeling very good about it to...reduces the stress of having a mess...to be honest I still have a few areas left.
Learned two new organizational tips:
#1 - Clean out your email inbox....how many of you have hundreds of emails sitting there...I clean out fairly well but by making folders in my email I now have an inbox that only has 5 or less emails in it every day.
It took a few days for me to do it...but I set up folders and then went through my emails and either moved them to a folder or deleted them....now I am not overwhelmed when looking at my email each day...and I can find easily emails that I either want to read...downloads that I might want to access again...or that inspiration that I thought was good. LOVE my new organized email folders.
#2 - CLEAR DESK a tip I recently learned and trying to put into practice is a clear desk....make an area behind you where you can keep your piles of to do stuff...take one item at a time to your desk/computer area...make sure your desk is clear each night...the idea here is that you will focus on that one item only and get it finished faster because you won't be distracted by other tasks on your desk.....it is working!
bonus tip -- stack of magazines...go through them quickly and tear out pages of interest that you want to read....the pile will be much smaller and less overwhelming.
Here's to destressing by being clutter free!! - the garbage/goodwill is your friend.
