New to studio....

I had the pleasure of working with a new family before the holidays....I really enjoyed their session and getting to know them.

It took two times....

Luckily there was not a huge amount of travel time involved to get to the studio....it does not happen often....but we decided we really did not have what we wanted the first time around so we did a second session....and the second time was a breeze...sometimes the best option is to take some more on another day and not get the little ones to stressed out....or mom.

Brother and Sister Fun

Whew....it is a crazy session when doing siblings together and then alone....but when traveling from a distance it is easier on mom than making a few trips to the studio....and when it is all done I can rest.

  it is so fun to capture the all out excitement...I am sure something silly was being discussed.

  and sometimes even the ones that are not caught at the right time can be precious.

 

sometimes it is not the face in the picture....it is the emotion that is there.

got it....both together and looking at the camera....those of you that have brought two little ones in know exactly what I am saying....and you know that we always get something....usually more than we planned.

It takes a lot of planning to get everyone organized for family pictures....but after all is done it is so worth it!

 

I was so happy that my idea of sitting the guys on the back of the couch worked...of course being me I took a traditional one first....I am working on not doing traditional unless requested...hope I can handle it!

 

when coming in for extended family pictures it is a good time to take that individual family to.

  

the best feeling in the world is to be a grandma....I am sure grandpas feel the same.

  

and it was time for 6 month pics....so we squeezed that in.....what a sweetheart!

 and what do you do with all those different pictures.....showcase them on your wall of course....so you can brag when your friends come over.

Fish'n Fun

Adam was in for his one year birthday pictures....sometimes we just have to keep those little ones busy....and the fish bowl is perfect for that....sometimes things can get a little soggy!

  and then a little birthday cake....he wasn't to messy....there was plenty left for grandpa to eat!

 

of course we also have to take some traditional ones.

TuTu Cute!

I just love these little tutu pictures....what little girl does not want to be a ballerina.

 

we had so many cute ones we designed a tower to showcase them.

Jordan 2 yr

GO GO GO.....Jordan is definately on the go....typical 2 year old....but we caught a few...even some with mom and dad.

  Jordan has the cutest smile...it's just trying to catch him while he is still and smiling at the same time!

 

the outside "villa" is a great place give busy boys something to occupy them.

  I am loving the causal family pictures...I think families are liking the more relaxed sessions to.

Brea 3 year

My little "Gerber Baby" is growing up....and she has the cutest attitude!

but so cute.

  she even danced for me....another sweetie!!

Alyssa 2009

Alyssa looks familiar because she was one of my senior models this year....thanks Alyssa.

When she came to her second session she was fighting a cold....we learned that when you don't feel the best RESCHEDULE the eyes just don't have the sparkle that they have when feeling good.

Luckily she loved a bunch from the model session....so she has great pictures to share with friends and family!

Sami's mom and I went to school together.....what fun it was to have them at the studio!

always fun to come up with a new idea for school activities.

   

always looking for new places around town....we don't have to drive to far :)
