Brittni 2009

Brittni was at the studio earlier for a model session...here are a few from her senior session....again it was a great time...I don't know how some of you ever decide your favs.

a new spot....this is about as close as I can get to a "city" look....I am about the only one in Howard on a Saturday...so I take advantage of the locations we have access to.

we had the worst luck with weather trying to get a day with no wind....the morning didn't look good....and we did get a quick shower in the middle of everything...but in the end it was a perfect day.

this is the coolest car with the fin tail back...a little on the scary side with broken windows, rust and dried tree sap on the sides...great "prop".

of course we didn't do all outside grunge.

  cute prom dress...loved the color.

it was great that Brittni brought such a variety of clothes and jewelry....I wonder how big her closet is at home??

Erin is another who had her session a while ago...sorry Erin....we found a couple new places to photograph outside and although she doesn't play much any longer she brought her violins for fun.

these steps are on the wrickety side...didn't let Erin go up very far.

I hope no one gets a bright idea to paint these doors...they are weathered perfect.

how cool is this violin...I know nothing about music...but I think violins rock...can violins rock???

Alexa 2009

Alexa is a dancer....but she didn't bring her dance shoes...her sister went home and got some so we could play a little....it was fun and afterwards I had more ideas I would like to try....just need to do a little more preplanning.

this blue has been very popular again this year....liked the fan blown look.

simple....yet shows her interest in dance.

a little attitude...now that I am looking at this I think it would look good in black and white.

can you say blue eyes!

the vintage dress worked well with the toe shoes.

and also with the "grandma" wallpaper.

a litle more vintage.

the weather was just not cooperating....it was windy and sunny....next time we will go inside her dad's showroom at the shop.

liked the motion in this one.....I had Alexa spinning so much I thought she was going to get sick! This really was fun...thanks Alexa!

Courtnee brought her horse to the studio for some pictures...it was fun and the horse was very well behaved....I know as much about animals as I do sports (not much)....her mom was a big help....always like a challenge.

this was one of my favs...I just liked it because it was different than most horse pictures.

we goofed around a little inside before going out with the horse.

thought I had better post one with her face showing.

David 2009

David File:

biggest accomplishment - Eagle Scout

David is the last of three boys in the family....and each has reached Eagle Scout....what an accomplishment for the family....a big whoohoo from me....David has made several trips to the studio between having pictures with his brothers when they graduated and family pics last year....here are a couple i liked

I will start with the Scout picture...hopefully we will get all three boys together soon.

I forgot that David brought his tennis racket.

Madison got new band uniforms this year....they are very sharp looking...

always work to get a good mom/grandma looking and smiling pose and yet keep it simple.

casual black & white....kind of an ambercrombie look....before they went shirtless in all their ads.

guys usually like to take some pictures outside...I think they feel more relaxed.

this is how David says he usually dresses....t-shirt and shorts....so I guess this is the "real" him.

sometimes the breeze is just right....this year we have had many WINDY days to contend with.

it is always fun to see what we get at different locations...sometimes they do not look very good just looking at them....but the pictures turn out great.

Chad lives for basketball....how exciting that he already has been chosen for a scholarship at SDSU...Chad had some great looking away poses....here's a few

Molly is a tennis player...it is not often that I get one in the studio...her sister may have been the first....it is always fun to try something new.  Here are a few from her session.

all smiles....Molly is not a serious girl...she is very light spirited and the serious look was definately not her....and that is ok....I want everyone to be themselves at the studio.

Adam is a little on the quiet side....at least at the studio he was...but we had a fun session...here are a few...

I really liked the look of his black and whites.

he didn't give me a lot of big smilies....but his the smiles he gave were very nice.

motocycles are also one of his favorites.
